Spoiler :
Been reading this since a bit after the current run started and I'm hooked. It's almost definitely too late but is there, I don't know, a donation incentive to buy the Japanese God DLC? I'm kinda enamored with Ama and I don't want her to cease existing.
I mean, if there's a "Super Awesome Deluxe Game of the Year Collectors Edition" that packages all the DLCs together I'd put money towards it.
More on-topic...
>I second the idea to give him the Attractive Hammer, though the idea of a full-on roomtrap doesn't appeal to me... If we could use our culture god powers to summon it, let's. If that fails, my plan B is:
>ROOMTRAP: Hermes
>Ask Helios and Athena to go face a wall. It's weird, yes, but they need to trust us on this. Then, remove the Attractive Hammer from inventory, place it on the ground, walk to the other side of the room facing the wall, and inform Hermes to tell us when to end the roomtrap. Strangle screens until Hermes calls for the roomtrap's end, then immediately end the roomtrap.
Spoiler :
My reasoning is this: Hermes doesn't trust us to not kill him, but I really want him to have this hammer. He can hit an assailant with it and buy enough time to get away. So, by placing us as far away from him as possible and making it so we could not possibly know what he's doing (hence "Strangle the screens" to cover that aspect) he can be free to look at the hammer to make sure it isn't a trap and be safe knowing we don't know where he is. Mind you, doing this also leaves us and our patrons open to his attack so if we can avoid dragging them in so it's just us and Hermes that would be ideal, but I want to give him as much control as he can have in this situation. I want him to trust us again T^T

Latta is probably going anyhow.

Unless we plan to bring out the pterodactyl, I say we at least leave spips on the ship since we need her in order to use her terror on fortuna.

With the supposed danger in mind I would say Edel is a good pick because of [Observant]. Similarily, Cea's [imaginary friend] could prevent some trouble, so we should take the both of them.

We can't take both Marble and Adrax because of psychic disable, and because these two are our big guns we shouldn't leave them both on the ship. I say we take Marble beause from a gameplay standpoint it's not as bad if she dies(Adrax has more synergy with the crew) and from a story perspective I'd like to have post-mental breakdown Marble to have more screentime.

And Cleo, well, I don't believe she would add anything of value so she should stay in the ship too so we leave less eggs in one basket.

So, >Latta, Edel, Cea, Marble.

As for stuff, >let's take the magnet(Cea)((in case of robots)), the translator, the music box(because we still haven't used it) and the lantern(Edel). Edit: And Cea should probably grab his smartphone so we can call the crew on the ship.

Did we end up taking scrap when Marble's ship got delivered? If we did we could ask Cleo to make a knifegun or upgrade her arm in the meantime.

Latta: space ship captains heading personally into dangerous situations is a time-honored tradition.

Cleo: curious and has little self preservation, of course she wants to tag along.

Cea: handle tricky social stuff and act as the voice of reason (yeah).

Marble: keep everyone alive.

If Marble refuses to come due to low morale take Adrax as extra pair of hands. Edel should stay on the ship in case of medical emergency.

First, send the sentry bird out.

Then, everyone should go. Even tiny helios.

If we leave one person on the ship, have them learn things from tiny helios.

Hmm, Cleo is sorta trait sensitive. Perhaps she could ask Helios to teach her, uhm, Karate? This has the added benefit of getting the ship waxed.

Hey Athena can you please have Edel use his plant growing kits? That's some inventory space that keeps getting used up we really don't need to deal with, and he could probably carry around something more useful like the magnet in the meantime. Also that light sword is there anyone better to equip it with?

>Adrax: Ask Marble to pick if she thinks the Bardiche or the stop sign is a better weapon. Unless she dual wields we really don't need both.
>Cea: Have Sonny scout, have Cleo keep an eye on the scrapbook and journal, and take the golden revolver and airhorn.
>Marble: Definitely take the portable translator

CJ is not built for close-combat at all, so he should get long range weapons if anything.

I thought we lost the chocolates and wine when One Punch died, also I thought we'd bought enough rations to last past the center of the universe?

>Cea: Trade the books for the magnet
>Marble: Trade the stop sign for the schadenfreude box and the translator, ditch the glowsticks and take some throwing knives.

Edit:

Cea's not built for combat altogether. His one point in strength gives him a hard time putting a dent in butter. If he gets a weapon it needs to be a good one or it needs to circumvent his low strength score. The gun works off morale and might actually work for that but Cea's morale had a tiny dip in the negatives before he got therapy from Marble so it's probably not very high. Latta can make way better use of it with her 100 morale.

This is also why I'd give him the magnet. To work it just needs to be put on a robot, I believe this would require agility rather than strength.

We can probably give stuff to Hades at the end of this run.

Though it's a sad thing we've never got to summon the fish. I don't know if we can pass on the whistle.

hopefully we can use it on our flight to fortuna
and if we can't pass it on you damn well know it'll show up in the next run having been passed onto Marble's kids

Hmm, Cea could carry it, but I'm not sure we want him to. It looked like he burned some stuff and people on his homeplanet in that dream of his so maybe we don't want to give him a source of fire.

Would we want Marble to have the flamethrower? It's a high power weapon, probably Athena's choice of starting item, so with Marble's high strength score would allow her to wreck things with it. This could be overkill though, and Marble already has her bardiche.
