Hey hey, it's me Bob of Bert. Treb of Bob. A Bob who is eager for fun, who wears a frown, everybody run?

Anyways, the MSPA forum mods were a bunch of hard-assed killjoys with no concept of fun, so 3 years ago they locked my topic that discussed the glory of bacon.

But I digress, dear Eagle Timers: What is your policy on bacon? Do you like it uncooked (you savage beasts), crispy, with eggs, no eggs, in a sammich, on your pizza, under your bed, in your closet, in your head? I fucking love me some good old crispy bacon, it leans towards how Americans would cook it as opposed to Australians (if you ever visit a buffet at an Aussie hotel you can see the differences)

So share your preferences, share your recipes, talk about non-bacon food and if you find bacon to not be kosher feel to free to shit on it here, I don't care I'm not your fucking dad.

Chum, that sounds delicious as fuck. I think Bacon wrapped scallops might be a tad too decadent for me, I'd eat them separately. (Kosher diets got me thinking, apparently the only insect that is considered Kosher by Jewish standards is a type of locust. I hope once the apocalypse hits that they'll have plenty of those to eat if they can't access other food. I wouldn't want to eat irradiated mutant pig either).

Superior meats that I have eaten are crocodile and shark. They are so superior in fact that I felt guilty eating them. Also I gotta try maple bacon ice cream, that is just like decadence that exists in a higher plane of reality in a dimension twice removed from ours. Such clashing flavours must be great, kinda like salted watermelons.

Maple Bacon Potato Chips are a thing, and they are pretty good and capture the flavour semi-accurately.

Hahahahah, kinda sounds like roast chicken and honey chips. It draws from that same principle of weird food flavours.

alligator meat is super bland imo, anything you get out of it is from seasoning

you know what bacon is good for tho

(its potato skins)

There are three types of people:
  1. People who for heath reasons or beliefs, can't or won't eat bacon
  2. People who like bacon
  3. People who are wrong

Just don't put it with chocolate or peanut butter I MEAN SERIOUSLY WHY???

i have a really bad bacon story

one time my dad cooked a bunch of bacon, in the microwave,

and.. it was.. so fucking greasy

like, soggy with grease

not in a good way, like a wholesome burger dripping with grease

a bad way

a "i got sick and was belching bacon for hours why did i eat that" way

@Sonic (the fast food place, not the hedgehog): Why do you have a peanut butter bacon milkshake? Why does that even need to be a thing that exists?

sonic is actually a pretty decent place to get breakfast burritos, by fast food chain standards

i dunno why but whataburger has some gross breakfast burritos in comparison

i like their chicken fajita tacos though even though they're like, objectively bad

like with shitty bottom-tier tortillas all soggy with grease

yet

so tasty

esp with picante sauce

I've made a spaghetti with mushroom sauce, topped with fried mushroom, onion, garlic, sausage, and bacon.

It was divine.

bacon dipped in chocolate is delicious! but only if its the right kind of bacon.

case in point my folks made chocolate covered bacon the other day. i had two. one was more greasy and had fat. the other was grilled to a crisp. the greasy one was gross but the crispy one was amazingly delicious.

it really depends on the consistency of the bacon itself, which is not easy to accomplish.
