Did this, didn't work out. Hurts more now. Thanks.

Did this, no longer have a cookie so I'll need to get a new one, but the massage was nice and helped. Good advice, I give you a gold star.

(08-02-2017, 01:00 PM)Mirdini Wrote: Get a cookie to give you a massage, give them a friend

New cookie didn't give me a good massage like my friend did, my back is covered in crumbs and feels horrible. But this isn't the cookies fault, I can't fault them for it, they did their diddlydarned best and they are my friend now. Solid advice, but ultimately not what I needed.

Anyone else know what I could do?

just jump in place

The story is describing Upper and Lower forests. Several kids are exploring the forest. Anyone who looked up from lower forest grew dizzy. When the children found something in the forest it was an amazing sight. Most parents got worried when the kids went to the forest because they thought it was dangerous.

This seems extreme for the problem, but good advice nonetheless. I feel content in my immortality already!

Did hokey pokey, back was not okie dokey afterwards. Bad advice, please reconsider your life choices.

(08-02-2017, 04:01 PM)Mirdini Wrote: get spurs that jingle jangle jingle

Back hurt while putting them on, but damn they look fine. Passable advice in a different context but I'm going to have to take points off for what this advice was for.

(08-03-2017, 12:16 AM)BananaPanda Wrote: Give yourself a massage, give yourself a cookie

Twisted self into weird angles to give myself a massage, now my back is EXTREMELY sore, why would you do this to me? The cookie does not make up for it.

(08-03-2017, 01:07 AM)ICantGiveCredit Wrote: give a cookie a massage

Cookie is now cookie crumbs. Idiot.

(08-03-2017, 03:12 PM)Reyweld Wrote: Give a masseuse a cookie, get a spiritual massage

Masseuse did not appreciate handful of crumbs, told me to get out of their office. But this was good advice regardless.

(08-03-2017, 07:18 PM)Our Lady of Lampreys Wrote: just jump in place

All this achieved was pain. Why do you do this to me people, I don't want to feel pain!

Anyone have any SERIOUS advice?

get a blanket and lay it on the floor, then just lie down on it. Sometimes all your back needs is some stable support.

use back brace/back support belt.

long term do more situps so your core supports your upper body weight instead of your spine and back muscles doing all the work.
get a better mattress, one that isn't soft and offers the right amount of lumbar support
make your usual chair have proper lumbar support

I'm sitting here, with my good friend and lifelong partner, Hot Lemon, telling them to chug a vase full of pure ethanol. They're doing it man, they're really going for it. The absolute madman is doing it. I can't believe it.
Don't know how this relates to my back, but damn what a spectacle, great advice as per usual. I can appreciate your consistency and how you are always willing to help out.

I'll pick some up on the way home from the hospital today and 'give it a red hot go' as they say. Thank you.

While comforting I am now on the floor and have to get up again, this will surely not be a fun affair. Can't relate to this advice, sorry.

That seems like something that would cost an amount of money more than my budget would allow! You know what they say, $3000 worth of candles a month keeps the doctor awonth. I just can't afford such luxuries in my life. In the meantime, I have gotten the paramedics who were treating my good friend and lifelong partner Hot Lemon to tape my back up, it helped! Great advice, thank you!

As for the long term solution, the exercises seem simple enough. But a new mattress might be a tad difficult considering I live in a dumpster, smaller than your average mattress. But I can sure as heck get some lumbar support on it! Thanks wheat.

I couldn't feel my anything and it was horrifying. I take my thanks back.

Oh, I see! Now what I was doing was just tying things to my back and flailing around like one of those inflatable tube men you often see trying to sell you a used car. I can see now that this might not have been the appropriate method to go with and will cherish this nugget of wisdom which you have bestowed upon my being.

Thanks friends! But my back is still sore right now.....any other neat tips and tricks?
