I haven't really commented on this discussion because I don't feel like there's that much to say that hasn't been said. Following that, I'd agree "he's trying to be helpful but is completely ignoring discussion topics" is a solid diagnosis.

Since you've prompted, what Reyweld has been concerned with seems to be RVS time silliness, so I don't really put much weight into what Reyweld is having a concern with.

On the front of what that means (is it a tell), I can't use meta on this one -- I don't recall playing with Reyweld so that's out (?????? doesn't count, that entire game is RVS time), but they seem savvy enough that I don't think it's scum attempting to create an early mislynch via putting RVS in a serious context (something I would consider to be a poor tactic). That would lead me to suspect town blind as you have, but then again, "seems savvy enough" would also disqualify that. So I dunno. It's interesting? I'd like to see what Reyweld has to say with respect to this discussion as it has progressed, and then I'd be more interested in thinking and talking about that.

The only good post on this dog of a day

anyways the main thing i'm taking away from this day so far is that i still don't believe in relying too hard on day 1 shenanigans for tells but i'm 90% certain everybody is scum and i'm the only town here.

RE: The Wander Island Incident - Day One: Incident Report
also i don't feel like quoting or making sure that what i'm referencing actually happened as i remember but yes the thing i was saying was fair of seedy was the idea that gimmicks are inherently a scumtell.

Well I was going to be glad some of you started taking this whole "life-and-death" scenario slightly more seriously, but we're already to the point of Sherlockian microdetail hyperfocus and I've just about lost the plot. Vote rescinded for the time being.

Therefore, Switch vote to Not The Author
A perfectly fair assessment! If you wanted to press the issue, you could well claim that my posting this "in response" to claims of inactivity is itself damning, which it would be! If I weren't... like this by nature. I'm more about puns and linguistic twists than freshly squeezed humors in any case, though judging by plural-your bloodlust, that'll be another point against me, mm?

heh.

Mod PSA

I've noticed Numbers' edited posts #121 and #136, as they only added a line each (about voting for NTA and the final line in #136) and because Numbers didn't realize that editing to add-on was a RULE-BREAKER they've been let off with a polite warning. Don't edit your posts, folks!

Double or triple-posting is MOD-SANCTIONED, go hog wild there instead. (Maybe don't go hog wild, or you'll end up mostly ignored like my quadruple-posting butt in Nostalgfia)

Thanks.

so

I totally forgot that at some point I had changed my vote to Sai, thought I still was on Justice Watch. Hwuugh I'm stupid. That's why you guys were so confused by that unvote.

Let me go back to Vote: Sai because I personally still want an answer on that weird comment of theirs and their silence is bugging me a bit now.

RE: The Wander Island Incident - Day One: Incident Report
I was asked what I think about Schazer's vote on Granolaman, and to me it looks like a joke OMGUS. Granolaman's vote on Schazer for being the third on Seedy also read like a joke, so to me the interaction is just Schazer acknowledging Granolaman and vice versa.

---

Something I do find interesting is LegendaryQ's #153, which basically says to me that LegendaryQ has been ignoring the conversation because it’s just “RVS time silliness”. Not only does it offer no substantial stance on me, but tries to brush aside everything being currently discussed. Instead of *trying* to offer anything new, they put the onus back onto me.

Vote: LegendaryQ

It's been a long time since I've played with schazer is she usually this salty about day one? I don't remember it being the case

it’s become the vogue to constantly complain about d1 during d1 because that’s definitely more fun to read or something

amyyways I agree with pala about numbers, that interaction was weird

Hey seedy what's your read on how coldblooded has read Schazer this game?

Also what's your feel on Blazer right now?

D1 Worthlessness Views (and the expression thereof) can change over a person's life as they have new experiences and encounter new viewpoints! It's like gender!

(I'm they/them)

both blazer and coldblooded seem to be working very hard to make this a fruitful d1, which I appreciate. but I also find the early commitment to reads and close-checking logicality to be odd, off-putting, and only mildly productive. I might also just not want to read paragraphs today since I got up at 6. but I really feel like I’m getting more out of the way people are saying things today than anything they’re actually saying
tl;dr: if I was an inforole I’d put them on my “to check?” list

I mean, sure if D1 lynch ends up happening, it ends up happening, but peeps who are trying to force a D1 lynch real hard seem kind of sussy to me tbh

which people in particular seem to be suspiciously forcing a lynch?

Wrt coldblooded I meant more in respect to his thought process on Schazer, like, do you think that the read regarding the first vote several pages later is a town perspective?

Cause' my initial thought on schazer's vote was "that looks sort of aggressively productive" which doesn't square with any history I've got but it's what I'd expect from a surface level day one reading from town to feel like. Agree/Dis?

Also wrt schazer, any feel there? The initial vote on your wagon felt really out of character, not seriously expecting to do anything but there also wasn't like, any joy in it. Going through the motions knowing my history with you and then going through more with granola.
